D.A.V. Mahila College , Katrasgarh, Dhanbad has a glorious heritage of continues exllecence in file of women’s education . College was established 1973 to promote value best education for women specially the economic backward classes. The College is a Government aided College permanently affiliated to Vinoba Bhave University , Hazaribag. The College registered by the AISHU the UGC under its clauses 2(F) and 12 (B). The College offers 3 years Degree (Honours and General) courses in different Subject of Arts and Commerce under CBCS. It has well equipped 15 class room, 05 laboratory , 01 big Library, 01 administrative office, 01 Examination office and a large big Girls Common Room with facilities.
